Social Media Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive organic social media strategies tailored to diverse client goals and industries (B2B and B2C). Key channels include LinkedIn, Meta (FB & IG), X, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content calendars across platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with internal client teams to create audience-first content that aligns with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on key social metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to both internal teams and client partners.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and platform updates to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Engage directly with online communities, fostering relationships and responding to comments or inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Partner with creative teams to ensure visual and written content adheres to platform best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct competitive and audience research to inform social strategies and content development.
  • Lead social listening initiatives to uncover valuable insights into brand sentiment and industry trends.
  • Present campaign results and strategic recommendations to clients confidently and effectively.
  • Thrive in a startup environment by taking initiative, proactively solving problems, and working independently to drive projects forward.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing organic social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. Familiarity with additional platforms is a plus.
  • Experience creating and optimising strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Strong grasp of platform-specific best practices, algorithms, and analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling content that drives engagement and aligns with brand messaging.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Buffer).
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self-starter mentality—comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for storytelling, creativity, and staying on top of emerging social trends.
  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms such as Looker Studio and GA4.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
